Garden Oaks Fine Accommodation
Inspired Living by Design

About Us
Principals John & Rob have a long history in the Oaklands neighbourhood of Victoria, B.C. and draw from an international experience of life and work in Asia and Europe. Art and objects reflecting adventures overseas add interest to furnished suites and GOFA grounds. Unfurnished properties invite your own special touches.

Community
Recognized by the City of Victoria as Community Champions, our principals are active in creating a resilient, extended neighbourhood known locally as the Oaklands Rise Woonerf.
Closer to home, all of our residents join in rental agreements that shape a community of mutually respectful tenancies. We are gratified that a number of our residents over the years have chosen to return and sometimes will stay with us waiting for larger or smaller suite to open up.

Gardens
GOFA properties are set into an acre of grounds. Designed by Operations & Environment Partner Rob to create garden rooms. Each provides a uniquely restful experience, even extending onto the bouelvards where a Garry Oak bench invites rest and conversation.
Each of our suites enjoys assigned exterior space, whether a deck space, porch or patio. Designated common areas are also available for temporary use.
On occasion, John and Rob open the entire gardens to residents and visitors as part of garden tours to support the broader community.
GOFA gardens have been featured as part of fundraisers for the Victoria Hospice Society (2013, 2025) and for the Victoria Conservatory of Music (2026).
By popular request, we are now offering selected plants propagated for sale.
